Job Description:Musicians in this position accompany students, on an as needed basis, in lessons, rehearsals, studio classes, recitals, recording projects and juries. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare repertoire for successful collaboration with studentsClearly communicate availabilityReserve spaces, as needed, for rehearsals with students in preparation for upcoming performances. Required Skills and Knowledge: Must have strong piano skills and pianistic facilityMust have good reading skillsMust have the desire to collaboratePreferred to have some familiarity with, and interest in, the repertoire Preferred Skills and Knowledge: Experience in the repertoire of at least one instrumental familyAbility to be artistically responsive to the student performer This document does not create an employment contract, implied or otherwise, other than an "at will" employment relationship.
