The VP of Revenue Enablement reports to the SVP of Sales and is responsible for establishing a strong sales support structure and leads support operations. Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Designs, implements and manages core sales operations and revenue enablement processes, including but not limited to deal review, sales training, proposal/RFP responses, sales commissions, and sales forecasting / pipeline management. Leads small team of business analysts and sales support staff to achieve organizational goals. Acts as primary liaison between the Business Development organization and Product, Technology, Legal and Human Resources. Evaluates and implements tools and resources required to optimize sales motions and drive sales results. Creates functional strategies; Develops policies/procedure; Initiates process improvements. Monitors all sales activities to identify problems, create solutions, and produce accurate reporting. Develops and implements promotional events to increase sales volume. Handling and prioritizing a range of customer inquiries and overseeing the strategy and delivery of such requests. Drives contract administration during negotiations on renewals and new clients. Actively participating in the account management process to provide ongoing support for functions related to client renewals. Perform territory research targeting industries, companies, and competitors. Facilitate weekly sales meetings including reporting on key performance indicators and pipeline activity. Develop ROI’s and commercial models for the different sales processes. Work along with the marketing department on developing campaigns/promotional projects to support the sales department in presenting API solutions to customers. Partners with senior sales management and Finance to proactively drive sales planning. Works closely with business unit VPs to drive quarterly and annual account renewals planning sessions/activities and business reviews. Builds and maintains relationships with field sales personnel to ensure timely, accurate, and prompt forecast submissions. Ensure consistent management of the sales organization data in Insight’s ERP system so management reporting is accurate. Required Skills, Education and Experience 7 years of progressive sales operations experience 5 years managerial experience 5 years experience in the Travel & Hospitality Industry Bachelor's degree or equivalent MBA preferred Strong analytical, commercial modeling and organizational skills. The ability to multi-task, have several projects “open” at once, prioritize and take direction from multiple constituencies. Strong verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to persuade and influence others to achieve the Company's goals. Hands-on approach Expert skills in required technologies including Salesforce.com, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Demonstrated experience working with complex commercial agreements and client negotiations. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work Full time, Monday through Friday, normal core business hours and as needed on nights and weekends unless otherwise specified. Supervisory Responsibility Yes Travel Requirements Approximately 10% travel may be required. Travel to/from API Headquarters for internal meetings in New York and occasional client facing engagements to provide analytical support to the sales team during contractual negotiations. Compensation Good faith annual salary range for this position is $170,000 – 190,000 USD and is commensurate with experience and location.
