You will also ensure compliance with legislative policies to ensure procedures and regulations are met. Key Responsibilities: This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: Develop and implement an engineering strategy and performance for the siteCreate an organization design to deliver world class performance focusing on key areas, effective maintenance, facilities, utilities, and projectsDeliver long term needs for technical skills and mastery throughout engineering, operations, and production engineeringEnsure that the site has an effective maintenance management system that is aligned with the needs of Operations and other Site FunctionsResponsible for capital management program to ensure that the facility is maintained at the compliance standard and invests for service, value, quality, safety, and sustainabilityEnsure investment model is aligned to financial ambition for best cost to the customerImplement a Global Engineering Standards and performance management system to ensure that the site performs optimallyEngage and ensure that Employee Health and Safety, Quality, and Value are built into all parts of the designEnsure site repairs, maintenance, and energy costs are benchmarked as best in class and cost to optimize plant availability and performanceManage an effective investment strategy for Engineering spare parts and replacementLead the Site Master Plan to an effective cohesive plan linked to site StrategyMaintain continuous contacts with technology suppliers and encourage knowledge sharing within the Engineering functionControl and monitoring the technological rating of equipment and devices in the plantEnsure an engineering capability ladder is developed and implemented on siteLead and define effective governance within the budget of technology investments and control the process of purchasing in close cooperation with the department of finance Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Bachelor's degree5+ years' Engineering Management experience10+ years' experience in Project, Process, Validation, Reliability Engineering and Plant maintenancePeople Leadership experience managing multi-disciplined engineering teamsExperience managing the Capital Management Program and investment modelingExperience ensuring that Employee Health and Safety, Quality, and Value are adhered to Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Bachelor's degree in EngineeringAbility to influence and lead strategic change across functions and disciplines and at all levels of the organizationKnowledge of the latest continuous improvement methodologies, tools and techniques with a proven ability to implement them with demonstrated resultsDemonstrated project management experience and skillsExperience developing and operating budgetsAbility to attract and develop top talentLI-GSKPlease visit GSK US Benefits Summary to learn more about the comprehensive benefits program GSK offers US employees.
