Here are the job details:Job Overview:Title: Private Companies Resource AttorneyLocation: New York City, NYFull-time positionJob Details:Prepare, enhance, annotate, and automate template documents.Curate and organize forms, precedents, and other legal know-how.Collaborate with the legal education team to develop training and educational content.Coordinate with attorneys across practice groups and other personnel to review, update, and contribute to practice resources and external publications.Monitor legal and regulatory developments in private companies, life sciences regulatory, and digital health practices, preparing summaries and alerts and ensuring incorporation into practice resources.Develop content for firm publications, teach-ins, and external-facing resources.Assist attorneys with day-to-day requests for precedents, templates, and resources.Participate in resource, knowledge management, practice innovation, and technology projects.Perform any other duties as assigned or required.Requirements:Must be a licensed attorney.3-5 years of experience in a US corporate/transactional practice.Proficiency in drafting legal documents.Experience working with larger, later-stage private companies and handling various transactions and day-to-day counseling issues.Background or interest in life sciences and digital health preferred.Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects, coordinating with attorneys and stakeholders.Associate experience in running closings and coordinating diligence/disclosures on transactions is advantageous.Detailed drafting and analysis skills for template documents.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission.Skills:Strong drafting skills.Ability to handle multiple ongoing projects effectively.Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Benefits Offered:Full elective benefits include medical, dental, vision, and flexible spending accounts.Pre-tax commuter benefits.Firm-paid life insurance, ADD, LTD, short-term medical benefits.Generous vacation time, sick time, and paid holidays.Parental leave and fertility benefits.
