Regular or Temporary: Regular Language Fluency: English (Required) Work Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Please review the following job description: Develop and create new business brokerage/sales activity via the distribution of Life Insurance, Disability Income, Long-term Care, Fixed Annuity and/or other related insurance products to agents nationwide through digital, face to face visits to conferences, meetings, agencies and agents directly. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.1. Prospect and profile producers for new and existing insurance sales opportunities for a defined sales channel, product line and/or solution center2. Utilize and understand internal resources to capitalize on team results3. Incrementally grow book of business, account, territory, etc. to reflect strategic business plan requirements4. Maintain proactive sales relationships with producers of respective territory and/or assigned channel/products/accounts through ongoing producer profiling, constant relationship-building, and refining and refreshing broker base5. Maintain sales production metrics on a monthly basis, build appropriate sales inventory and achieve sales production plan6. Work with and maintain strong working partnerships with Crump's operations teams (licensing, illustrations, case management, underwriting, commissions, etc.) to effectively issue and place policies7. Remain contemporary on relevant industry, legislative and tax-related issues8. Provide feedback from agents on product marketing, processing and other related customer service issues9. Make required volume of proactive sales calls as required10. Maintain accurate customer relationship management (CRM) activity records QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers3. Effective time management skills4. Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously5. Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment6. Ability to work in a self-directed fashion7. Experience with PC's in a Windows environment8. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products9. Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions10. Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization11. Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience12. Exceptional presentation skills13. Two years of successful sales experience with life insurance products in the insurance industry or related financial services industry14. Ability to quickly build rapport and trust while interacting with clients and delivering presentations15. Proven ability to build sales production metrics on a consistent basis each month along with strong client retention and satisfaction metrics16. Strong life product and/or related product experience17. Understanding of current market issues and trends as it relates to the insurance/financial industry and tax-related ramifications18. Proven track record of progressive sales quota attainment Preferred Qualifications: 1. Life brokerage experience2.
