A well-established healthcare system in southern Louisiana is seeking a qualified OB/GYN physician for locum tenens coverage starting in mid-June.Qualifications:Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology Active Louisiana medical license DEA certification requiredCases & Procedures:Deliver comprehensive obstetrical care, including routine and a very limited number of high-risk pregnancies Perform labor & deliveries, C-sections, and a variety of in-office gynecological proceduresEmergency privileges are availableSchedule:Sporadic coverage for vacation and other coverage needs Night in-house call (5 pm-6 am) or 24-hour in-house call (sleep time provided) Mix of inpatient and outpatient carePractice Setting:Join a 54-bed women's facility within an elite group of health systems Collaborate with skilled professionals including neonatologists, anesthesiologists, nurse practitioners, and medical assistants Paragon EMR system utilizedLocation:Just a two-hour drive east, Houston, Texas, beckons with its booming economy, world-class museums, and exciting cultural scene Head two hours east to Lafayette, the heart of Cajun culture.
