Job Title: Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic Job Summary Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Should possess in-depth knowledge of HVAC equipment, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients. Responsibilities: Install, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems according to specifications and industry standards. Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in heating and cooling systems. Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and efficiency of HVAC systems. Collaborate with clients to understand their specific HVAC needs and provide effective solutions. Stay updated on advancements in HVAC technology and industry best practices. Respond promptly to service calls and emergency maintenance requests. Document all service and maintenance activities accurately and in a timely manner. Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and service tasks. Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all service and maintenance activities. Requirements: Experience in residential/commercial retrofit/replacement - small split heat pumps and gas furnaces, mini-splits, package units on the ground, roof top package units, water source heat pumps, VAV boxes, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, welding Proven experience in HVAC installation or related field service work Ability to weld and perform appliance repair Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions Familiarity with plumbing and equipment repair is a plus Benefits: Competitive wage, weekly pay Work/life balance – M-F schedule with on-call schedule only 2-3 times per year Company vehicle, fuel card, tablet, and cell phone Uniform and Tool Allowance programs No selling!
