The ideal candidate will handle case files from start to finish, provide legal advice to clients, and manage a team of litigation support staff. Job Duties:Handle personal injury case files from inception to resolutionDelegate tasks and manage a team of litigation paralegals, legal assistants, case managers, and legal secretariesCommunicate with clients, expert witnesses, insurance adjusters, supporting witnesses, and medical providers to gather necessary informationAssess potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clientsMaintain updated status documentation of all case files in the case management systemNegotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clientsReview, modify, and draft various legal documents including motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, claims, and subpoenasStay abreast of updates and changes in personal injury law, tort law, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice Requirements:Hold a Bachelor’s degree and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degreePossess up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law, tort law, and related legal areasMaintain a state license to practice law and membership in the State Bar AssociationDemonstrate superior research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skillsProficient in computer usage3+ years of successful personal injury pre-suit experience Education and Certifications:Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor (J.D.) degreeState license to practice law and membership in the State Bar Association Skills:Excellent delegation and team management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal abilitiesProficiency in legal research, writing, and draftingNegotiation and settlement skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
