Rate: $24.00 - $25.65 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)We are looking for a maintenance technician for our 132-home single-family rental community located in Ruskin, Florida, a vibrant suburb of Tampa! As Service Technician III, you report directly to the SFR Community Manager and will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the community at all times. Our ideal candidate has the necessary skills to complete service requests timely and professionally, ensuring a safe and secure living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Requirements At least three years of maintenance experience in multi-family or single-family property management. Must have Level II or Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification. On-call every other week for emergencies. Must provide your own general tools such as screwdrivers, hammer, pliers, drill drivers, wrenches, etc. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Must be able to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment. Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) is a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus! Responsibilities Maintaining accurate records and accountability for all maintenance operations on the community while working within the planned maintenance budget. Diagnosing and repairing basic and complex maintenance issues on a daily basis including, but not limited to A/C and heating systems, electrical and plumbing, appliances, stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings, tile, carpet, flooring, and ceiling leaks. Completing a duties checklist to ensure vacant apartments are move-in ready as required. Walking the property grounds and common areas, correcting unsafe conditions, and picking up trash and debris. Maintaining all service and safety records in compliance with federal, state, and local law, and assisting in conducting inspections and safety meetings. Performs any additional duties assigned by the SFR Community Manager. We offer a competitive salary, good benefits, and an energetic environment.
