Job Title: Functional Medicine Physician Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Functional Medicine Physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in functional, integrative, and preventive medicine, with a focus on addressing the root causes of illness and optimizing health and wellness. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess health status, identify underlying imbalances, and develop personalized treatment plans. Utilize a functional medicine approach to address a wide range of health concerns, including chronic diseases, hormonal imbalances, weight management, and micronutrient deficiencies. Order and interpret advanced diagnostic tests, including hormone testing, genetic testing, and micronutrient analysis, to guide treatment decisions. Prescribe evidence-based therapies and interventions, including hormone therapy, nutritional supplementation, lifestyle modifications, and stress management techniques. Educate patients about the principles of functional medicine and empower them to take an active role in their health and well-being. Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including nutritionists, naturopathic doctors, and mental health professionals, to provide comprehensive care to patients. Qualifications: Medical degree from an accredited medical school. Board certification or eligibility in a relevant specialty (e.g., family medicine, internal medicine, integrative medicine). Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in functional, integrative, or preventive medicine. Demonstrated expertise in hormone therapy, weight management, gene testing, and micronutrient assessment. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to addressing the root causes of illness. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
