Community Bible is a contemporary, non-denominational, multisite church that started in Fort Smith, Arkansas that is committed to seeing Jesus transform every person and place in the region. Fort Smith is located in the Arkansas River Valley which is situated between the Ozark and Ouachita National Forests with access to countless outdoor activities.Community Bible is seeking to hire a Worship Director for our Van Buren Campus . The Van Buren Campus Worship Director works directly with the Campus Pastor to enhance the worship experience and execute the vision and mission of Community Bible – Van Buren. The Campus Worship Director gets to help visitors and members encounter God through meaningful worship experiences. The duties outlined below are the main areas of responsibility for the Campus Worship Director. Services Partner with the campus pastor in developing creative services that are relevant to the target culture/community and have a spirit of Celebration. Lead worship for Sunday morning services, Wednesday Student services, and regular Worship Nights. Leads rehearsal for worship services. Provide vocal and musical direction for services. Oversee all production elements of services (audio, video, lighting, etc.) Shepherding Shepherd Community Bible – Van Buren to continue growing a “Culture of Celebration.” Develop and shepherd the worship and production team volunteers for this campus. Provide pastoral care for each person who is serving the worship & production ministry. Volunteer Development Recruit, develop and oversee worship and production volunteers in their understanding of worship and their musical abilities. Identify and raise up key volunteers to be point leaders in your ministry. (Training in running tracks, Planning Center Scheduling, band and vocal development, lighting, cameras, audio, pro presenter, etc.) Create tools and resources for your volunteers to be ready for services and learn upcoming songs. Administration Assist the campus pastor in the execution of the annual ministry plan. (Right hand of the Campus Pastor.) Participate in weekly/monthly staff meetings and teaching meetings. Use Planning Center (PCO) to schedule services, teams, and input resources for songs. Organize and lead Sunday morning rehearsals and occasional midweek and event rehearsals. Develop and run audition/on boarding process for new worship team and production volunteers. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Feels called to Worship Ministry. Ability to lead worship vocally and preferably with an instrument (Guitar or keys). Desire and ability to build community and culture of servant leadership within the team and in the lives of the worship and production volunteers. Experience and knowledge of Production service elements (Audio, Visual, Lighting, ProPresenter, Tracks, Ableton, etc.) Experience in creating authentic and vibrant worship services including Special Holiday Services (Good Friday, Easter, Christmas Eve Candle Light, Baptisms, etc.) Ability to train, develop, and cast vision to the volunteers and team members. Exhibits good judgement, honesty, integrity, responsibility, and punctuality through the utilization of professional work standards. Flexibility – Ability to be teachable and collaborative. Willingness to serve in a variety of areas if needed (Next Generation ministry, Preaching, Discipleship ministry, Weddings, Funerals, etc.) Social Media/Marketing - Experience and gifting using a variety of media to promote the mission of the church is a plus.
