INVENTORY ACCOUNTANT Empirical Systems Aerospace, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Accountant to join our finance department. ESAero is a growing aerospace company in the San Luis Obispo area and provides various services which include but are not limited to: rapid system development, on-demand niche engineering, hands-on development/testing, and small UAS aerospace system manufacturing. **This position is fully on-site at Empirical System's Aerospace in San Luis Obispo, CA Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Proposal Review Inventory adjustments and transfers and billing Invoicing capitalized labor Cost accounting to include manufacturing costing and job costing Monthly journal entries Reconciliations of item fulfilments/inventory/end of project material transfers Liaise with operations and project management functions for accurate tracking of inventory and assist with periodic physical inventory counts. Ensure accurate reporting of inventory balances on the general ledger and the trial balance Support PM's/PA's/Project Accountant Logistics support Project Set-ups Required Qualifications and Skills: 2+ Years Accounting Experience in Manufacturing Environment Experience with ERP BS in Accounting or Finance preferred Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills Extreme attention to detail Understanding of business accounting principles as well as basic auditing principles in relation to inventory balances Understanding of basic contracting principles (government and commercial) Familiarity with DCAA compliance a plus Standard Benefits: Health: Health/Dental/Vision PTO Retirement: 401k Casual dress code, Free snacks Amazing location to live, work, and play ESAero is an equal opportunity employer.
