The successful candidate will play a crucial role in handling intellectual property litigation matters, particularly in the life sciences sector. Job Overview:The Mid-Level IP Litigation (Life Sciences) Associate Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in intellectual property litigation matters, with a focus on cases within the life sciences industry. This role will involve providing legal counsel, conducting research, and advocating on behalf of clients in various legal proceedings. Duties:Representing clients in intellectual property litigation matters, including patent and trade secret disputes, within the life sciences industry.Conducting legal research and analysis to support case strategies and client initiatives.Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Managing discovery processes, including document review, depositions, and witness preparation.Collaborating with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.Counseling clients on intellectual property matters and providing legal advice as needed. Requirements:Admission to a State Bar is required.Strong academic credentials in law and undergraduate coursework.Undergraduate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Materials Science, Genetics, or Biochemistry is preferred.3-5 years of experience with intellectual property matters, including patent and/or trade secret litigation.Excellent leadership skills and a strong work ethic.Outstanding research and analytical skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Sound legal and business knowledge related to intellectual property and litigation matters. Education Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to a State Bar. Skills:Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Strong written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Leadership and teamwork skills.Legal and business acumen in intellectual property and litigation matters.
