The candidate will be responsible for patent prosecution in a biotechnology practice. A strong preference is given to candidates with 1-5 years of experience and an advanced degree, preferably a Ph.D., in a life sciences technology area. Patent Bar membership (USPTO Registration Number) is required. Duties:Conduct patent prosecution in the biotechnology practice.Draft and prosecute patent applications.Conduct legal research and analysis.Communicate with clients regarding patent matters.Assist with patent portfolio management.Provide counseling on intellectual property matters. Requirements:Patent Bar membership (USPTO Registration Number) is required.1-5 years of patent prosecution experience.Advanced degree, preferably a Ph.D., in a life sciences technology area.Strong understanding of biotechnology patent law.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Education and Certifications:Advanced degree, preferably a Ph.D., in a life sciences technology area.Patent Bar membership (USPTO Registration Number). Skills:Proficiency in patent prosecution.Strong research and analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Attention to detail and organizational skills.
