Senior Business Development Associate ETIC is seeking a dynamic Senior Business Development Associate to support its rapidly growing Construction and Field Services Division. The person assuming this role will leverage their industry connections and relationships to expand ETIC’s client base and identify leads that have the potential to produce environmental and civil construction project work across California. They will also familiarize themselves with ETIC’s current client base and work to expand and diversify those relationships in support of growing construction business volume. Core responsibilities: Working with the Business Development Team to develop client and project pursuit strategies. Attending and participating in industry outreach and informational events to gain local contacts and identify possible project work. Connecting with industry contacts on a regular basis to promote ETIC, strengthen relationships, disseminate information about ETIC’s capabilities, and capture information about upcoming and future opportunities. Identifying key internal personnel and subcontractor alliances to support pursuit efforts. Working with ETIC’s Marketing Specialist to develop marketing media and statements of qualifications in support of the Construction and Field Services Division. Maintaining communication logs, pursuit lists, activity logs, client target meeting notes, and other BD-related documentation to ensure visibility to upper management. Maintaining awareness of changes in the regulatory landscape that affect construction practices and ensuring that ETIC takes appropriate and timely steps to adapt. Supporting sales planning and forecasting to define divisional sales targets and identify potential sources of revenue. Supporting the Business Development Team’s company-wide marketing and sales initiatives, as required. Relevant Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in an engineering or construction related field; formal sales/marketing/business management education and training a plus 10+ years of experience in the construction field 5+ years of direct experience and demonstrated success in construction-related business development and sales Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to initiate and develop personal and professional relationships Willingness and ability to travel for in-person meetings with perspective and existing clients (valid driver driver’s license required). This is a work from home position with occasional travel around the Greater Bay Area to meet clients and attend presentations. Powered by JazzHR
