The candidate should have significant interest in or experience with merger reviews. FTC/DOJ experience is a plus. Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis on antitrust laws and regulations.Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents related to merger reviews.Participate in client meetings and effectively communicate legal strategies and recommendations.Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on transactional-based work related to antitrust and competition law. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Illinois bar or eligibility for admission.1-5 years of experience focusing on transactional-based work.Strong interest in or experience with antitrust and competition law, particularly merger reviews.FTC/DOJ experience is considered a plus. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the Illinois Bar or eligibility for admission. Skills:Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. The Illinois law office is the biggest workplace of the firm. The time-honored law practice opened for business at this location one-hundred and three years ago. To date, there are six-hundred and fifty seasoned attorneys staffed at this location. There are eight areas of practice. Disciplines consist of litigation, corporate, real estate, intellectual property, restructuring, tax, employee benefits and tax-estates.
