The candidate should also demonstrate the ability to multitask while maintaining high integrity and professionalism.Job Overview:Provide legal representation to clients in personal injury cases.Conduct legal research and analysis related to personal injury laws and regulations.Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings.Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing parties.Duties:Represent clients in personal injury cases from inception to resolution.Conduct intake interviews with potential clients and assess the merits of their cases.Investigate the facts of each case by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and reviewing medical records.Draft legal documents, including complaints, answers, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings on behalf of clients.Keep clients informed of case developments and provide legal advice and guidance.Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff within the firm.Requirements:1-5 years of experience practicing personal injury law.Admitted to practice in New Jersey.Strong legal research and writing skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to multitask and manage a high-volume caseload.Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New Jersey State Bar.Any additional certifications or specialized training in personal injury law are a plus.Skills:Legal research and analysis.Case management and organization.Negotiation and settlement skills.Client advocacy and counseling.Attention to detail and accuracy.Time management and prioritization.Proficiency in legal software and technology.
