Green Tech High is looking for a Social Studies Teacher to join our team , you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. You will develop and implement lesson plans, teach various social studies topics, and assess student progress. ```Duties```- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards- Teach social studies topics such as history, geography, civics, and economics- Utilize various teaching methods and learning technologies to enhance student engagement and understanding- Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and projects- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth- Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, inclusivity, and active participation- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom updates ```Requirements```- Master's degree in Education or related field- Valid teaching certification/license in Social Studies or relevant subject area- Experience working with children in an educational setting- Strong knowledge of social studies curriculum and content- Ability to develop engaging lesson plans and instructional materials- Proficient in written and verbal communication skills- Familiarity with learning technologies and their integration into the classroom- Excellent classroom management skills- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners If you are passionate about education, have a strong background in social studies, and enjoy working with students, we encourage you to apply for this position.
