Senior Tailings Geotech Eng - Dynamic Deformation Analysis Key Responsibilities Provide input for advanced geotechnical laboratory and field investigations (including drilling and in-situ testing) and carry out detailed materials characterisation to support TSF design and planning. Carry out earthquake induced liquefaction backssments, detailed evaluation of Seismic Cone Penetration Testing results, site response analysis, and seismic performance analysis of TSFs. Utilize geotechnical software and modelling tools to analyse and optimise designs of TSFs; tools such as FLAC2D/3D and/or PLAXIS. Develop geotechnical design recommendations for tailings storage and dry stack facilities. Mentor junior staff and foster a continuous learning environment Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, with a graduate degree (MSc, or Ph D) in Geotechnical Engineering. 8+ years experience in geotechnical engineering related to tailings management and tailings storage facility design.
