System Engineer Position Summary DarkStar Intelligence seeks a systems engineer proficient in applying engineering principles throughout all life cycle phases and engaging with stakeholders. The role involves ensuring technical quality and contributing to ISO/IEC 15288 process areas. Minimum qualifications include an active Top Secret/SCI Clearance, Full Scope Polygraph, and relevant systems engineering experience. Educational requirements vary from a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related fields with six years of experience to a PhD with four years of experience. Relevant fields include various engineering disciplines and areas like Chemistry and Computer Science. Location: Annapolis Junction, MD FSLA Status: Full-Time Citizenship: Applicants must be U.S. Citizens Position Type: On-Site Clearance Level: TS/SCI FS Polygraph Primary Duties & Responsibilities Apply systems engineering principles through all life cycle phases: Concept to Retirement. Engage with stakeholders for technical guidance and resolve issues. Ensure technical integrity and quality of deliverables. Contribute to work products across ISO/IEC 15288 process areas: Technical, Project, Enterprise, and Agreement. Analyze technical alternatives and provide preliminary recommendations. Develop work products in the Technical and Project Process Areas of ISO/IEC 15288. Independently analyze and recommend solutions for project technical design elements. Minimum Qualifications Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance Current Full Scope Polygraph Experience in systems engineering activities within ISO/IEC 15288 framework. Ability to produce deliverables in various ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas. Proficient in stakeholder engagement, risk management, and project planning. Strong analytical skills for technical design and decision management. Education Bachelor's Degree: In a qualified engineering field (see detailed fields below) or a related discipline from an accredited institution, plus a minimum of six (6) years of systems engineering experience. High School/GED: Plus ten (10) years of general systems engineering experience across any Process Area. Master's Degree: In a qualified engineering field or related discipline, with at least four (4) years of systems engineering experience. PhD: In a qualified engineering field or related discipline, plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience. Qualified Engineering Fields include: but are not limited to Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management. Related Disciplines include: Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics.
