Nurse Unit Manager - RN / LPNWe are seeking to fill the position of Nurse Unit Manager - RN - Registered Nurse or LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse . Day Shift 7a to 4p with 1x mo. on-call $48 to $53 per hour based on skills and experience Qualifications: Current license as RN or LPN in Massachusetts. Experience with Dementia patients preferred. Must have extensive clinical experience, administrative experience, and training in both nursing and management. Must have strong communication skills, diplomacy and the ability to take leadership of any situation. Job Summary: Supervise the unit, overseeing registered and licensed practical nurses, nursing aides, medical clerks and support staff. Manage work schedules, delegate assignments, assign tasks and evaluate employee job performance. Discipline staff who don't fulfill their job requirements or provide inadequate patient care. Set Unit goals and standards and establish employee policies and procedures. This is a brief overview of job responsibilities and not intended to be all inclusive.
