Who We Are: The New Orleans JCC is a state-of-the-art fitness center and pool, a leader in New Orleans early childhood education, a fun-filled summer day camp and so much more. It is a place for adults to take an exercise class, an art class or dance class. A place for children and teens to experience learning through enrichment classes, sports leagues, family activities, and summer camps. The JCC is built on Jewish values, but is welcome to everyone.The mission of the New Orleans Jewish Community Center is to promote and ensure the well-being of our Jewish community and to instill an understanding of Judaism and its heritage by providing a Center where all can enjoy, learn, experience and share in quality activities in a Jewish environment. What You'll Do Create a positive welcoming environment in person and over the phone for all those who come to the JCC including but not limited to members, program participants, guests, and staff. Checking in members and guest according to the JCC procedures. Monitoring up-to-date memberships and member check-in. Verifying approved access to the facility. Ensuring all guest have been properly checked-in. Answering phones and redirecting calls. Making sure the welcome desk is kept neat and stocked with all flyers and materials as needed. Report Maintenance and Facility request to appropriate staff. Be able to adjust work schedule to provide evening and weekend walk-in tours for prospective members when needed. What You'll Bring: Customer service and administration experience is a plus! Be efficient in Microsoft & Google Suites. Excellent Interpersonal skills and commitment to providing quality customer service. Perks!
