JOB RESPONSIBILITIES This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests. To include but not limited to: Greet guests with a warm, personal greeting. Check guest list guests into the Venue. Scanning of online pre-sale tickets. Accept and record in person guest list additions or check ins. Handling of guest entry tickets and drink tickets. Assist with events as needed. Must be knowledgeable of Venue promotions and events. Update and maintain all Guest List Sheets and Software. Provide support to VIP Hosts and Management. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: (Include equipment knowledge/use) 1-2 years experience in ticketing, special events, promotions, or marketing nightclubs or restaurants and/or related experience in a ticketing, special events, promotions or marketing internship or related university marketing course work preferred. Good communication skills; multilingual is a plus. Ability to read and write in English proficiently. Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. and active participant in social media. Positive attitude, self motivated, energetic and is a willing learner. Ability to follow directions well, make quick decisions, and keep organized while under pressure. Ability to perform a variety of duties with extreme care, concern and detail. Ability to work as part of a team in a high stress & a high-volume environment. Professionally groomed in a manner consistent with department grooming standards. Physically able to walk without assistance and stand on various surfaces for an extended period of time.
