Don't forget to take a look at our comprehensive benefits!SUMMARYDirects and coordinates the activities of a specified group in an efficient manner for the desired quality and quantity of work necessary to meet business requirements and customer specifications.ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Coordinate, manage, and monitor the various departments within the facility. * Ensure that effective controls are in place and being followed in order to meet customer and company inventory levels (FIFO, cycle counts, etc.). Monitors control for the purchasing of supplies and other expenditures. * Supports initiatives set forth by the Company and Manager for an effective safety program that meets OSHA and company expectations. * Monitor targets for safety performance including leading indicators (Hiyari Hatto, Behavioral Based Safety, etc.) and trailing indicators (incident rates). * Ensures the prompt investigation, reporting, and countermeasure of safety incidents and audits. * Coordinate and monitor the productivity of various departments within the facility. Monitor targets for productivity performance. * Monitors the facility's quality control measures that are being followed to meet internal and external customer expectations. * Create standard operating procedures for the processes within the facility. * Supports creation of training and development plans for staff to support succession planning and effective operation. * Works closely with Operations Manager and Assistant Operations Manager to meet customer expectations and develop additional value-added services. * Responds promptly to internal and external customer issues and concerns with root causes and countermeasures within the specified timeframe. * Other duties and special projects as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS * Associates degree in Business Management or Supply Chain or equivalent. * At least 3 - 6 years of experience in similar field, including management responsibilities. * Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. * Responsible for training employees, directing or distributing work, handling employee's complaints, determining and/or planning work, and also performing the same kind of work as subordinates. * Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products. * Excellent verbal/written communication skills. * Excellent analytical skills. * Excellent organizational skills. * Must be detail-oriented. * Experience in supply chain management and familiarity with coordinating activities with warehouses and logistics service providers. * Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, evolving environment. * Clear thinking with a continuous improvement mindset. * Detail oriented and conscientious to produce consistently high-quality work.BENEFITS * Competitive Salary with Bonus Opportunities * Paid Time Off * Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits (Low Premiums!) * Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts * Disability and Life Insurance * 401(k) with Company Contribution * Educational Tuition ReimbursementOur company is proud to be an equal opportunity employer!
