Youll be working with an award: winning multi: disciplinary team of engineers on a huge range of projects in the South West, supervising and leading site investigations from start to finish. If youre looking for a step up in responsibility and skillset, this is the ideal next step. The successful Principal Geotechnical Engineer will receive: A competitive salary (GBP40,000 : GBP50,000). The Principal Geotechnical Engineer selected will have a variety of responsibilities. These include: Leading a site investigation team through a variety of projects, ensuring smooth development and delivery, project managing at times. Liaising closely with clients, contributing to business development, contract managing, tendering and team development. Overseeing site and report work. Mentoring junior team members. As a result, the Principal Geotechnical Engineer role requires experience in a geology based role, with extensive knowledge of site investigation practices (for example a minimum experience of senior geo: environmental or geotechnical engineer role). You should have an industry relevant degree (for example geology, geotechnical engineering, environmental science etc), a full UK Driving Licence, a full right to work in the UK and be commutable to the Cardiff area.
