Geometric Solutions is actively seeking an Applications Engineer to join our team! This position can be a hybrid position commuting to our Troy MI office, or 100% remote for non-local candidates. Responsibilities Provide technical sales support (Pre & Post sales) Create demos and present to customers based on various functions Develop and present technical training Construct proposals and estimate applicable hours Customer Relationship Management: Write reports and communicate results, issues, & recommendations to the customer Qualifications BS in Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience Project management and customer support experience Understanding and/or experience in Design and Manufacturing process Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Basic understanding of CAD/CAM Excellent communication skills Preferred Qualifications Problem-solving experience in a manufacturing plant setting Knowledge of Siemens products such as NX, Teamcenter, Tecnomatix: Process Designer, Process Simulate, Plant Simulation, and VSA Understanding of Discrete Event Simulation Understanding of Robotic Systems and Automation Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Vacation and Holiday pay Employer matching 401K Hybrid work schedule after 90 days for eligible positions Tuition Reimbursement Flexible Spending Programs (FSAs) Short-Term & Long-Term Disability insurance Employee Referral Program Additional Voluntary Benefit Programs Off-site company events & Employee Luncheons Who are we?
