Harmony Veterinary Care is looking for an Associate DVM to join our team! Harmony is a small animal integrative veterinary practice. With 6 exams rooms and close to 15,000 square feet, Harmony offers the best of both worlds. We engage and keep the clients as involved as possible to ensure comfortability with both client and pet. With the integration of different styles of medicine, we offer many alternatives like vaccine titers, acupuncture, laser therapy, Chinese herbs, herbal tonics, and food consultations to ensure our patients are well taken care of. In addition to having IDEXX laboratory equipment, we partner with 8 different universities to expand our testing availability. Our team is looking for a DVM who can provide compassionate care and a calming presence to minimize patient and client stress levels. WHAT WE OFFER: Competitive Salary ($100,000 - $160,000 per year) Production Bonus Pay Employee Referral Program Medical/Dental/Vision insurance Relocation assistance available Paid Time Off & holidays Continuing Education time off and reimbursement Financial Wellness Program 401K + company match Paid license fees, VIN/Plumbs membership, and Liability Insurance Work/Life Balance (me time) CORE RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS: Supports excellence in client experience Works collaboratively with HM and Medical Director Practices high quality, gold standard medicine Examine, diagnose, and treat animals brought into the veterinary clinic/hospital for medical care Perform surgical procedures as needed, including routine spay/neuter operations as well as more complex surgeries Prescribe and administer medications, treatments, and preventative care plans Counsel pet owners on animal health, nutrition, behavior, and overall wellbeing Interpret diagnostic tests such as x-rays, blood work, etc. and develop treatment plans Maintain comprehensive patient medical records and documentation Assist in emergencies and provide urgent/critical care when needed Evaluate patient health through both conventional and alternative diagnostic approaches Stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in integrative veterinary medicine COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of clinical experience Valid and in good standing licensed veterinarian within the state of Arizona Strong clinical skills and sound medical judgment Good communication skills, both written and verbal Time-management and delegation abilities Exercises sound judgment and demonstrates exemplary decision-making skills Professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with others Apply today!
