Wood County Hospital is accepting applications for a full-time Senior Housekeeper. The Senior Housekeeper provides personal care and professional excellence by maintaining an assigned area of the hospital in a sanitary, orderly and attractive condition. Assists supervision in various tasks in order to maintain progress of the department. Job Duties: Assists supervisors and manager with personnel training, evaluation of quality and quantity of work and monitors daily productivity of staff. Performs thorough monthly cleaning and semi-annual cleanings on schedule. Safely makes detergents and germicidal solutions from chemicals. Properly cleans restrooms and replenishes essentials. Dusts vents, cabinets, horizontal surfaces and counters. Properly completes discharge unit cleaning. Thoroughly vacuums and extracts furniture and carpets as needed. Properly dust mops and wet mops floors with cleaning solutions. Safely operates electric floor machines and vacuums. Properly scrubs, strips and refinishes floors with machine. Shift Details: Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per weekShift: Nights Weekend and holiday rotation required. Minimum Requirements: Preferred Experience: Healthcare experience preferred.
