Description:
Develop Solid State & Energy Efficient lighting systems including full specifications, designs & light level requirements. Develop Solid State and Energy Efficient lighting system designs from construction drawings & specifications for new builds, remodels & special projects. Review reflected ceiling plans to ensure conformity with lighting system designs. Analyze individual project needs & select optimum Solid State & Energy Efficient luminaires accordingly. Utilize knowledge of DMX, KiNET, ArtNET, & DALI protocols to design and develop Solid State & Energy Efficient lighting control systems. Oversee, manage & direct installation of Solid State & Energy Efficient lighting control systems. Perform post-project commissioning to ensure performance of Solid State & Energy Efficient lighting control systems meets project parameters & standards. Examine Emergency Lighting System plans & submittals to ensure regulatory compliance. Prepare Solid State & Energy Efficient lighting proposals & present to clients. Provide alternate lighting solutions & make amendments as necessary, ensuring final lighting plan is to clients complete satisfaction. Liaise with electrical contractors to ensure delivery and installation schedules are adhered to. Calculate construction lighting project costs, timelines & material requirements. Liaise with lighting manufacturers to select products, negotiate prices & terms and to ensure timely delivery, ensuring products meet Energy Code & project requirements. Design & develop lighting system layouts and drawings using AutoCAD software. Calculate light levels using AG1 32 software. Generate 3D previews of proposed lighting in interior and exterior spaces using HDR Lighting software. Draft and implement policy & procedure manuals for Solid State & Energy Efficient lighting installations. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 2 years of experience in job offered or related field. *SUBMIT REUMES BY MAIL ONLY*
