About Us: Jennifer Miller is a rapidly growing boutique jewelry company, headquartered on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. We currently have 5 boutiques: Upper East Side, Southampton NY, East Hampton NY, Palm Beach Florida and Southbeach Miami. Jennifer Miller specializes in fine and faux jewelry and accessories for the chicest women in the world!We are looking for a talented Sales Manager to join our Palm Beach team on Worth Avenue, to travel to trunk shows across the US, and with the possibility of working in our Hamptons locations during the summer months. Responsibilities: Sales Leadership: -Generate sales through strong leadership and client building. Ensuring comp store sales and monthly sales goals are met. -Execute strategies to meet daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly sales goals.-Provide individual sales goals to all employees and ensure sales goals are met. Manpower management: -Contribute to the development of sales associates through daily coaching and roleplaying-Assist with staff hiring, training, and the maintenance and development of a highly productive sales oriented staff.-Execute training and coaching strategies to ensure all team members are meeting individual sales goals and follow up through with weekly one on ones to ensure progress is made.-Confront performance problems and document performance problems through written warnings and execute Merchandising: -Lead the merchandising process and contribute to the overall aesthetic vision of Jennifer Miller. Operations: -Conduct daily operations of running a retail store and ensure store compliance with company policies and procedures.-Assist with inventory and loss prevention management -Assist with website customer service as needed. Trunk Shows: -Travel to trunk shows across the US. Requirements: This position requires about 70% selling and sales/people management and 30% operational management. This role requires travel. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Retail Assistant Manager Experience, Retail Store Management Experience, or Retail Sales Management experience, and a minimum of 6 years of retail apparel or accessories experience. Bonus Points: Knowledge of jewelry and accessories is a plus Possibility of working/living in the Hamptons during summer months if candidate desires (Housing Provided) Prior trunk show experience is a plus
