The ideal candidate should possess substantial experience in IP litigation, including briefing, motions practice, deposition preparation, and working with experts. Additionally, experience in trademark/anti-counterfeiting matters would be advantageous. The candidate must demonstrate exceptional client service skills, outstanding communication abilities, and a strong academic background.Duties:Handle all aspects of intellectual property litigation cases, including research, drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Prepare for and conduct depositions, hearings, and trials.Collaborate with clients and experts to develop case strategies and provide legal advice.Conduct trademark searches and surveys as needed.Manage USPTO office proceedings and trademark registration matters.Assist in anti-counterfeiting efforts and enforcement actions.Requirements:3-6 years of experience in intellectual property litigation.Ability to become licensed to practice law in North Carolina if not already licensed.Proven track record of delivering superior client service.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Strong organizational and analytical abilities.Outstanding academic credentials.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the North Carolina State Bar or eligibility for admission.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and writing.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail.Time management and prioritization skills.Familiarity with intellectual property laws and procedures.Experience with trademark searches, surveys, and USPTO office proceedings.
