Principal Radar Analyst with Security Clearance

Amentum is seeking a Principal Radar Analyst to provide support to NSWCDD B40 / B60 DivisionsYou will perform systems engineering to support development, acquisition and evolutions to field advanced concepts on Navy and/or Marine Corps Radar SystemsJob Responsibilities:--- Execute sensor data collection, exploitation, fusion, modeling and concept exploration.--- Will execute as Subject Matter Expert to perform complex radar system engineering, design, analysis, or radar software development on one or more of the following systems: Dual Band Radar (DBR), Ground Air Task Oriented Radar (G/ATOR), AN/SPY-1, AN/SPY-6, Enhanced Coherent Data Collection System (ECDCS) or other sensor systems.--- Will perform detailed and complex calculations and apply knowledge of engineering practices / principles necessary to assess advanced sensor / radar systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration.--- Will assist or execution evolutions to perform system and / or component Modeling and Simulation--- Will lead development of engineering presentations, White Papers, system specifications, Point / Position Papers, Technical analysis and assessments and orally present technical concepts to staff and project leadership About Amentum: Amentum is a leading global provider of technical and engineering services to government and commercial customersWe are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges in the defense, intelligence, and civilian marketsWith 44,000 employees worldwide, we leverage our extensive experience, cutting-edge technology, and proven processes to provide exceptional value to our customersRequired Qualifications and Skills Required one or more of the following ---- (a) A Bachelor's degree from an a school of engineering with at least one curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) as a professional engineering curriculum in one of the following fields: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering; plus Twenty (20) years of professional engineering experience or--- (b) A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics; plus Twenty (20) years of professional engineering experience or--- (c) A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics; plus Fifteen (15) years of professional engineering experience or--- (d) A Ph.D degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics; plus Ten (10) years of professional engineering experience--- Must have an Active SECRET US Government ClearanceNote: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET ClearancePreferred Qualifications:--- Experience performing engineering evolutions related to Navy/Joint warfighting systems--- Experience utilizing MATLAB to perform calculations and data analysis--- Minimum of eight (8) years experience in complex radar with emphasis on one or more of: Fourier Analysis, IQ Signals, In-Depth RF knowledge, Digital Signal Processing, Wavelet knowledge and Radar Signal processing--- Minimum of two (2) years managerial / supervisory experience Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity EmployerOur hiring practices provide equal opportunity for employment without regard to race, religion, color, sex, gender, national origin, age, United States military veteran's status, ancestry, sexual orientation, marital status, family structure, medical condition including genetic characteristics or information, veteran status, or mental or physical disability so long as the essential functions of the job can be performed with or without reasonable accommodation, or any other protected category under federal, state, or local lawEEO is the Law Poster EEO is the Law Poster Supplement
