Job Description: American Greetings is searching for a highly energetic, motivated and creative individual to fill the role of Industrial Design Intern. We are looking for someone whom is passionate about design and is interested to learn processes, systems, tools and industry knowledge in an effort to further develop their industrial design capabilities. In this role you will be responsible for:* Concepting and development of permanent and temporary displays* Creation of die lines for displays, graphics, and packaging* Creation of environmental renderingsYou will also have an opportunity to work collaborative to facilitate design solutions through concept sketches and drawings, prototypes, and verbal communications. Our ideal candidate will be creative, have basic drawing skills and an understanding of materials to deliver consistently fresh and relevant design solutions. **In order to be considered, you must include a URL Link or PDF of examples of your portfolio**Experience Required: Experience Required: * Have an understanding of Materials & Processes* Ability to sketch out ideas for review* 3D Software such as FormZ, Alias, Solid Woks* 2D Software such as Photoshop, Power Point and IllustratorInternship Details: * This is a full-time, paid internship* Role requires hybrid work out of our Creative Studios at Crocker Park in Westlake, Ohio. You must have plans to reside in Northeast Ohio for the Summer of 2024.* Must be able to work 40 hours per week from June 10, 2024 - August 16, 2024Qualifications: * Current enrollment in an accredited college or university* Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in a related field* 3.0 GPA or higher, preferred
