Job Description Analyst - Decatur, IL or Erlanger, KY GBS Finance ServicesThis is a full-time, exempt level position.Position Summary: Analysts at ADM have proven ability to think and work independently. They possess the ability to identify problems or opportunities for improvement and regularly propose solutions to problems. Analysts are expected to independently manage projects of increasing complexity and have a strong understanding of accounting systems and processes. They must demonstrate a high level of self-confidence in dealing with management at various levels and various administrative, commercial, and operations areas, as applicable. They should be considered an expert in assigned areas and have demonstrated ability to see projects through to completion. Analysts have no direct supervisory responsibilities.Responsibilities: Monitoring and reconciling of warehouse inventory reconciliationsComplete monthly accounting work per US GAAP guidelines and perform relevant analysis Complete annual review/revision of Key Financial Controls (SOX requirements) and process flows and work to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls Work with relevant business partners to provide insight and analysis into financial results Prepare and analyze financial statements and/or supporting schedules Perform quarterly analysis and reporting Work independently with little supervisor intervention Engage proactively in the design and implementation of process change. Required Skills:Strong inventory reconciliation experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customersAdvanced knowledge in Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of Internal ControlsFinancial Analysis and operationsKnowledge of Governance, Risk and ComplianceDesigning Queries and Reports using Financial SystemsEducation Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accountingExperience:3+ years of accounting experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and large ERP systems a plus Physical Requirements: Ability to safely and successful perform the essential job functions consistent with qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standardsStandard office safety regulationsExcited about this role but don't meet every requirement listed?
