Job Title: Business Support Analyst Location: National Capital Region / Remote (as mission requires) Security Clearance Required: Top Secret (TS) with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with business units to understand their technology needs and identify opportunities for process improvements. Analyze business processes and systems to recommend enhancements that support business objectives and increase efficiency. Serve as a liaison between the IT department and business units, facilitating communication and project alignment. Develop and maintain documentation for system requirements, processes, and workflows. Provide support and training to business users on new and existing technologies and systems. Participate in the planning and implementation of IT projects, ensuring they meet the business needs and are delivered on time. Monitor and report on the performance of business systems, identifying issues and recommending solutions. Ensure compliance with security protocols and policies, particularly regarding the handling and processing of sensitive and classified information. Job Duties: Conduct detailed business and systems analysis to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions. Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure technology solutions align with business goals. Lead training sessions for staff on new systems, processes, and technologies to enhance business operations. Coordinate with IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure business systems are secure and compliant with federal and organizational standards. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business support or business analyst role, preferably within a government or technology-focused organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and provide concise, actionable insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of working effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders. Proficiency in business intelligence tools, databases, and MS Office Suite. Active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility. Preferred Certifications: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent. ITIL Foundation certification. Educ ational Background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred. Years of Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with a focus on business support, analysis, or IT project management in a government or technology-driven environment.
