POSITION SUMMARY: As our Human Resources Business Partner, you will provide business partnership to your assigned internal client groups, including corporate and commercial functions to lead, develop, and implement HR strategy in support of our strategic objectives. Additionally, you will serve as the first point of contact for our people leaders and employees within your assigned functions to provide counsel, coaching, and support on HR fundamentals and employee-related questions. This role is key in implementing HR initiatives and driving functional excellence and process improvement while championing key initiatives such as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Employee Engagement, building a strong workplace culture, promoting employee wellness, etc. YOUR RIPPLE EFFECT Are you a strategic Business Partner? You will partner with your internal client leaders and their staff to provide strategic HR partnerships. You will create and implement both long-term and short-term HR strategies that directly support and enable BrassCraft's objectives. We will also look to you to provide strategic coaching as it relates to leadership planning, career path development, and performance management. You will facilitate strategic organizational design workshops to equip leaders to navigate through change through a shared vision of the future.Do you have a passion for workplace culture? You will be responsible for driving HR projects across the organization in support of overall strategic initiatives including Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and employee engagement initiatives.Do you have a strong Employee Focus? You will conduct workplace investigations when needed to ensure that all employee relations issues are properly identified, investigated, reported, and resolved in a timely manner. This includes gathering, preserving, documenting, and analyzing all available information and evidence, as well as making recommendations to the business on resolution, including any disciplinary actions required.Are you a great teammate? You will partner with our HR team to implement strategies and programs. You will also assist and offer solutions regarding services and programs provided by the company, act as a liaison for our employees to our Masco Service Center as needed, and adapt Enterprise talent strategies to launch and sustain core processes to enhance leadership development at all levels. You will lead and coach leadership on processes related to employee advocacy/engagement, employee relations, performance management, career development, talent assessment acquisition, and retention. You will drive People Leader excellence through training, intentional development planning, seeking and providing feedback, and coaching. You'll also lead and facilitate roundtables and new leader assimilations and assist with leading processes including benefits and enrollment, compensation planning, compliance, and offer support for functional processes like Performance Development, Talent Review, Salary Planning, etc.Are you ethical? As an HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing advice and counsel to managers and employees and ensuring consistent application and integration of policies, procedures, and practices to promote an ethical and accommodating work environment.Are you meticulous? You will ensure that employee information is appropriately documented and kept within our Workday HRIS and other record-keeping systems. As well as assisting in managing legal requirements related to work authorization visas and other related documents to lead compliance. WHAT YOU BRING Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; Master's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred. Professional certifications such as SPHR or PHR, or any additional credentials are a plus.At least eight (8) years of related experience working in a business partnership role; the equivalent combination of education and experience working in Human Resources may be considered. Experience with organizational development and DE&I project implementation required.Previous experience in Manufacturing or Operations support preferred.Must have excellent business, financial, and human resources skills with sound working knowledge of local, state, and federal labor law and government requirements. Thorough understanding of HR concepts and principles with expertise in a specialty area such as staffing, analytics, facilitation, compensation, etc.Proficiency in using systems, tools, and applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS (Workday preferred), SharePoint, etc.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve problems; Project Management with the ability to lead and complete projects independently; ability to meet deadlines and work with conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment is vital to be successful in this role.Must be customer-focused with unwavering responsiveness and follow through.Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization, including the ability to present information to a group of co-workers, supervisors, managers, or higher-level executives.
