Clinical Assistant Professor - Full- time Non-Tenure Description The Department of Neurology at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville, seeks afull- time faculty at the non-tenure accruing level of Clinical Assistant Professor. Qualifications The successful candidate will be a medical doctor (MD) having completed residency training in Neurology and fellowship training in both Neurocritical Care and Interventional Neurology, also be BE/BC in these specialties and subspecialties are required. The candidate will also possess a Florida Medical license or Florida Medical Faculty Certificate. General Duties This position will report to the Chairman of the Department of Neurology at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville. Primary duties include providing high quality direct patient care for Neurocritical care patients and patients requiring Neuro-interventional procedures such as thrombectomies, AVM embolization, and aneurysm coiling. There will be rotational shifts in the Neuro ICU as well as providing Stroke interventional radiology call for the organization. In addition, this position will require providing clinical teaching of residents and medical students in Neurology as well as participating in other educational and research programs of the institution.
