The candidate must have broad exposure and proficiency in complex income tax planning, including planning with respect to partnership taxation and general closely held or family business transactional tax-related matters. Foreign inbound, IRS controversy and domestic and foreign trust-related experience are also a plus. Must be admitted and in good standing as a member of the Florida State Bar and also preferably the NY State Bar. Current or prior employment with an Am Law 100 firm is a plus. Must be flexible to work in other tax and non-tax areas within the private wealth practice and show a desire to become a regular writer and speaker on various private wealth matters relevant to the practices diverse client base. Strong academic background required with a tax background. Must have exceptional research and writing skills, team oriented and committed work ethic.
