We are urgently looking for an Automotive Paint Prep/Body Technician to join our team! The Automotive Paint Prep/Body Technician is responsible for prepping vehicles from a variety of makes and models to customer specifications at a high level of skill and quality . If you have experience with automotive paint and are looking for a new opportunity that is stable with no prospecting required – then this may be the job for you! Painting experience is a Plus!Pay will be negotiable based off experience. Responsibilities: Receive automotive inventory and review preapproved paint work Properly spray the application of primers, sealers, basecoats, and clearcoats Blend and apply 2 and 3 stage colors as needed Work closely with prep staff and other painters to meet work demands as a team Partner with additional departments as applicable to ensure customer satisfaction Maintain company provided tools and additional equipment per company standards Requirements: Previous experience in automotive paint Must be 18 years of age or older Must have a checking/savings account or pay card with routing numbers for direct deposit General understanding of automotive details and features. Ability to sit, bend, squat, and hold various positions for long periods of time Strong communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and set deadlines. Ability to work well with multiple departments Motivated, personable, team player with a superior work ethic. Ability to operate manual transmission is a plus. This is a full-time position.
