Responsibilities: • Work with policyholders to develop and deliver risk management strategies that fit their individual profiles• Spend time listening to new and potential clients, assess their priorities and finances, and determine suitable insurance plan options that successfully meet their individual insurance needs• Implement sales strategies and tactics proven effective in maintaining and growing existing customer portfolios comprised of loyal, long-term clients• Update bookkeeping systems, customer records, and sales databases to report your monthly and/or quarterly progress to goals to stakeholders• Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, and monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction Qualifications: • Job seekers must have an insurance license• Candidates should have basic computer skills and be able to use Microsoft Office programs• Experience with accounting and or sales lead software is a plus• High school diploma mandatory; four-year undergraduate degree strongly preferred• Demonstrated comprehension of the insurance industry, insurance products, risk management profiles, and associated state and federal regulations• Fluency in Spanish, Vietnamese, and/or Chinese is preferred but not required Compensation: $120,000 at plan About Company: As a mutual company, with no investors or outside owners, New York Life is uniquely aligned with our client's interests and priorities.
