Foodservice Director Wanted: Contract Foodservice Expertise - Norfolk, Hampton, or Chesapeake, Virginia Are you an experienced Foodservice Director with a strong background in contract foodservice account relationships? We're seeking a dedicated professional with expertise in managing partnerships with companies like Aramark or Sodexo. Candidates with experience in higher education (higher-ed) settings will also be considered. Join our team and help us maintain exceptional foodservice standards while fostering long-lasting client relationships. Responsibilities: As our Foodservice Director, your duties will include: Overseeing all aspects of foodservice operations for our contract accounts, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfactionDeveloping and maintaining strong relationships with clients, including groups such as Aramark, Sodexo, and higher-ed institutionsCollaborating with internal teams to create innovative menus, promotions, and special events that align with client objectivesManaging budgets, P&L, and financial performance for assigned accountsEnsuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulationsRecruiting, training, and developing a high-performing foodservice teamRequirements: Our ideal candidate will have: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant and equivalent Foodservice Director role, preferably within contract foodservice or higher-ed settingsProven success with brands such as Aramark, Sodexo, or similar contract foodservice companiesStrong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulationsExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentProximity to Norfolk, Hampton, or Chesapeake areas of Virginia, as the final location will be determined based on the selected candidateWhat We Offer: Competitive salary up to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experienceTop-shelf benefits package, including health, dental, and life insurance, 3 weeks of vacation, PTO, and many moreOpportunities for professional development and career growth within our organizationA supportive, collaborative work environment that values innovation and excellenceThe chance to make a real impact on the success of our foodservice operations and contribute to the growth of our client relationshipsAll resumes received will be treated with strict confidentiality.
