Practice Area: Health Care - Compliance / Transactions / HIPAA,Health Care - General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, A law firm is seeking a Junior-Level Managed Care Regulatory Associate Attorney for their Chicago, IL office.Job Overview:The Junior-Level Managed Care Regulatory Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel and support to health insurers and other healthcare entities. The ideal candidate should possess 2-4 years of experience in healthcare regulatory and compliance matters, with a focus on managed care. Experience with OMS (Operating Model Solutions) is considered advantageous.Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis on healthcare regulatory issues related to managed care.Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents about managed care arrangements.Provide legal guidance and support to clients regarding compliance with state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.Assist in regulatory filings and submissions as required.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements.Represent clients in administrative proceedings and regulatory audits.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Illinois State Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.2-4 years of experience in healthcare regulatory and compliance matters.Prior experience representing health insurers and/or healthcare entities is preferred.Familiarity with managed care regulations and industry practices.Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Illinois State Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.Collaborative mindset and ability to work well in a team environment.Familiarity with OMS (Operating Model Solutions) is a plus.
