The ideal candidate must possess a basic understanding of federal and state court practices and must be licensed to practice law in Illinois.Responsibilities:Support litigation matters by conducting legal research.Prepare pleadings, memoranda, and other written documents.Assist in the preparation of answers, discovery, and dispositive motions.Manage cases efficiently and effectively.Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and preparation.Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.Basic knowledge of federal and state court practice.Experience preparing answers, discovery, and dispositive motions.Case management experience is strongly preferred.Must be licensed to practice law in Illinois.Good standing with the State Bar of Illinois.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of Illinois.Skills:Excellent legal research and writing skills.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
