Our Client, CX3, LLC, a commercial cleaning company, is looking to hire a full-time Commercial Cleaner to support their growing team in Calvert City, KY. The work schedule for this position is Monday – Friday from 4pm – Midnight. Toni Criswell-Midyett is the Founder and Owner of CX3, LLC, a commercial cleaning company headquartered in Paducah, KY. The organization is licensed, bonded, and insured, and their employees are background checked and drug screened to ensure the highest level of safety and satisfaction for their clientele. CX3 offers daily, weekly, or bi-weekly services. While they are growing rapidly, the company is still small enough to personally oversee operations to maintain the level of quality for which they have built their reputation on. CX3 specializes in cleaning a wide variety of businesses such as health care facilities, industrial factories, bank offices, government buildings, and more. POSITION SUMMARY Reporting directly to the Manager of Commercial Cleaning , the Commercial Cleaner is responsible for carrying out janitorial-related tasks in an assigned organization according to the standards that are established between the Owner of CX3 and their Clients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures all designated areas of the assigned client’s commercial building are clean, tidy, suitable, and ready for rendering services to their own clients. Dusting, cleaning, and polishing furniture, fixtures, and fittings. Vacuums and mops commercial buildings. Cleans restrooms, break rooms, kitchen areas, offices, and other assigned areas. Restocks materials and ensures paper goods are replenished. Empties trash cans, removes trash, and replaces the bags as necessary. Utilizes a cleaning checklist to perform all the standard tasks established by the organization, such as: Dusting furniture, equipment, partitions, and walls; Cleaning sinks, countertops, floors, toilets, mirrors, tables, chairs, microwaves, and refrigerators; Ensuring supplies in the restrooms, break rooms, and/or kitchens are replenished, carefully sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, or hand scrubbing floors with the use of the necessary tools such as brooms, mops, and vacuum cleaners; and Disposing trash and waste into designated disposal areas. Consistently provides high quality cleaning services and demonstrates a high degree of professionalism at all times. Applies necessary chemicals and solvents to surfaces to remove stains and dirt effectively. Complies with all safety policies and procedures related to carrying out cleaning tasks. Identifies and reports all equipment issues to supervisor(s) or to CX3 management. Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES No prior experience is required but at least 1 year of directly related experience is preferred. Sound knowledge of janitorial activities and customer service practices Well-developed physical fitness which enables a commercial cleaner to move, walk, bend, pull, push, and lift heavy items, and to carry out other exercises effectively. Sound oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, as a commercial cleaner is required to communicate with co-workers and customers in a polite manner while also reporting all issues to the supervisor or management. Good time management and organizational skills, which helps to maintain composure and successfully carry out assigned cleaning duties on time. Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Flexible, dependable, and adaptable. REQUIRED LICENSES & OTHER MISCELLANEOUS NECESSITIES Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to/from the assigned business location. Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a thorough criminal background check. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must be able to access various departments and areas of a given location.
