Position Summary: We are seeking candidates who will enhance our department and profession through innovative interprofessional teaching and scholarship. Faculty responsibilities include teaching, student advising, scholarly activities, and service. The Director of Clinical Education will play a pivotal role in the Clinical Education Team, focusing on recruiting sites and placing FPU students in clinical experiences, including Integrated Clinical and full-time experiences. We strongly invite dynamic candidates with specialization, research agendas, and teaching expertise in various neurological areas to join us. Responsibilities: Participate fully in the Clinical Education Team. Recruit clinical sites and place students in clinical experiences. Coordinate Integrated Clinical and full-time experiences. Contribute to the program's expansion of students. Engage in teaching, advising, scholarship, and service. Qualifications: Terminal degree in physical therapy or related field. Clinical expertise in neurological physical therapy. Experience in clinical education coordination. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Commitment to interprofessional education and collaboration. Evidence of scholarly activity and potential for research. Teaching experience in neurological physical therapy preferred. Familiarity with accreditation standards (CAPTE).
