As a Qbit Architect, you will play a critical role in the development and integration of our quantum processor. You will be responsible for applying quantum circuit electrodynamics to the development of robust quantum bits, gates, and interface electronics with the goal of system integration, and benchmark testing. Responsibilities: Collaborate on the development of quantum bits and gates, emphasizing the completion of multi-qubit gates and enhancing overall gate functionality. Additionally, you will be tasked with aiding in the development of interface electronics to enable communication between a conventional computer and the quantum bit array, as well as designing and implementing the software layer for the FPGA-based interface to seamlessly integrate with the quantum system. Taking a leadership role in the integration process, interface electronics, and basic quantum algorithms, you will work towards creating a fully functional quantum processor. Your role will involve driving incremental progress and improvements through iterative development cycles, evaluating performance metrics on benchmark problems, and utilizing test results to identify opportunities for system enhancement and optimization.
