It won't take you long to find out that you are on the right track here at NASCAR!The Senior Broadcast Engineer is responsible for the productions operating system and overseeing the technical aspects of live productions. The Engineer is tasked with working in a post/live facility in order to service the engineering needs of clients involved in the live production of radio and television shows.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Manage the day to day engineering duties and maintenance of equipment on live and shows. * Build and program live and studio shows. * Configure and patch connections between microphones, amplifiers, fiber transmitters, telephone lines, and auxiliary power supplies to relay broadcast material to master control. * Test and troubleshoot equipment prior to broadcast. * Lead team with the responsibility of parts, inventories, cable pulling, equipment installation and integration. * Run and maintain control room, studios and other parts of the Broadcast facility. * Switcher programming, audio console programming, intercom programming, and other necessary live broadcast programming. * Maintain communication channels in case of problems or broadcast interruptions. * Provide technical support for the IT and other Engineering Departments. * Travel:
