ObGyn physician employment in New Jersey : A federally qualified health center in Central NJ is currently seeking a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner for a great full-time opportunity. About the Opportunity: Schedule: Monday to Friday Hours: 8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm Responsibilities: The Women's Health NP (WHNP) will be responsible for: Perform routine well-woman exams and use these exams to screen for conditions such as cervical cancer and breast abnormalities Provide family planning services, including prescribing and fitting contraceptive methods, offering counseling on family planning options, and educating women about birth control choices Provide prenatal care to pregnant women Diagnose and treat various gynecological conditions, including menstrual disorders, urinary tract infections, and sexually transmitted infections Manage the physical and emotional changes that come with menopause Educate women about breast health and conduct breast exams to detect abnormalities Provide counseling and education on various health topics, including nutrition, exercise, stress management, and emotional well-being Prescribe medications, including contraceptives, hormone replacement therapy, and medications for gynecological conditions Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: 1+ year of related work experience Bachelor's Degree Active NJS Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) license Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills Patient oriented Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills Strong attention to detail Highly organized Desired Skills: Experience in LARC (IUD + Nexplanon) insertion and colposcopy procedure
