Responsibilities * Responsible for improving existing machining process to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity improvements. * Responsible for updating appropriate process documentation to ensure setups, programs, and tooling information is accurate and available for Operations. * Process development and implementation of new product designs. * Active, hands-on participant in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of operations issues. * Actively train Operations on new and existing machining processes. * Implements new technology as part of capital projects, maintaining timeline integrity for specific tasks. * Committed to delivering exceptional results. * Communicate and interact with all levels of the organization to facilitate action and drive improvements. * Supporting the business by working on 2nd and/or 3rd shift may be required.Required Experience * Familiarity with CNC programming, especially basic manual programming, cutting tools, and part work holding. * 2 plus years' experience highly preferred * Experience with AutoCAD preferred * Experience with CAM software preferred * Associate Degree in an Engineering-related discipline is required. Equivalent, relevant experience will be considered. * 1-4 years' experience in a manufacturing environment involving high speed machining and automation is highly preferred. * Experience using manual lathes, mills and other equipment is highly preferred. * Experience using basic measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, etc. is preferred.Mueller is an equal opportunity employer.
