Practice Area: Corporate - Private Equity,Corporate - M&A, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 7 Years, A law firm based in Reston is seeking a Private Equity Resource Attorney with 7+ years of experience in a US private equity corporate/transactional practice. The ideal candidate will work closely with the MA resource attorney and knowledge management team to assist with MA/PE data and experience input and maintenance, among other duties. The Private Equity Resource Attorney will play a key role in supporting the firm's private equity practice by assisting with various tasks related to document drafting, knowledge management, legal education, marketing, and client development. This role requires strong expertise in private equity transactions, excellent drafting and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. Duties:Assist with MA/PE data and experience input and maintenancePrepare drafts or revise existing precedent template documentsCurate and organize the private equity group's forms, precedents, and other know-howMonitor legal and regulatory developments relative to private equity practice and the firm's core industry verticalsDevelop and maintain the internal landing page for the private equity groupCoordinate with the firm's legal education team to prepare content for associate trainings and other firmwide training efforts relative to private equityStrategize on firm private equity promotion and assist the marketing team with content creation for pitches and teach-insWork with the quantitative analyst group on matters specific to private equity funds and transactionsCollaborate with resource attorneys in other practice groups on best practices and overlapping initiativesAssist attorneys with day-to-day requests for precedents, templates, and other resourcesBe involved in resource, knowledge management, and practice innovation projects Requirements:Licensed attorney with 7+ years of experience in a US private equity corporate/transactional practiceBasic understanding of private equity transactions, MA, portfolio company management, partnership-based equity compensation, acquisition financing, corporate matters, and financial transactionsMastery of the substantive area of practice undertaken by the Private Equity practice groupKnowledge of industries regularly advised by the firm Skills:Strong drafting, communication, and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication and drafting abilitiesStrong intellectual ability, interpersonal, and technical skillsOrganizational and time management skills with attention to detail Benefits offered:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceHealth savings account (with applicable medical plan)Health and/or dependent care flexible spending accountsPre-tax commuter benefitsLife insurance and ADD coverageLong-term care coverageBackup care for children and/or adultsParental support benefits Creative lawyering in a laid back environment is big draw for associates at this Amlaw firm.
